Seechie and James’ love story started in school, right here in San Francisco—James' hometown. Seechie, originally from Washington, D.C., quickly learned that a Bay Area summer isn't exactly what the rest of the world calls summer. (Which is probably why she was alternating between her gorgeous, flowy dress and a giant puffer jacket during our session— hahahah!)

The two tied the knot last fall at a dreamy winery in Paso Robles, and during my visit to San Francisco, I had the chance to capture them in their home city. Sutro Baths gave us the perfect moody, coastal backdrop, with its rugged cliffs and misty ocean views adding to the romance of the evening. These two have such an effortless connection—it was a joy to photograph them laughing, cuddling, and braving the chilly sea breeze together.
